In just a few days, the devastation of Gaza has already claimed hundreds of lives, displacing tens of thousands, destroying homes and entire buildings while leaving many with scars of physical and mental trauma. As the news articles proliferate and posts polarize, a humanitarian crisis continues to unfold, and we feel it is critical to work collectively to a future Palestine free of Israeli occupation and, in the immediate future, to provide medical aid to Gaza.
To that end, we joined forces with a few of our friends to launch this fundraising T-shirt, with 100% of the profits donated to the @thepcrf the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, @pmrsofficial Palestinian Medical Relief Society, and @medicalaidpal Medical Aid for Palestinians - all NGOs that work widely through all of Palestine and Palestine refugee camps, and are currently working tirelessly around the clock in Gaza.
Please note that we are not collaborating with these NGOs but only donating our proceeds to them.
In a joint effort, the T-shirt graphic was designed in collaboration between American artist Emma Kohlmann and Palestinian-American artist Jordan Nassar, with a traditional hand-embroidered flower by one of the many Palestinian women in the Dheisha refugee camp in occupied Palestine, with which we have worked closely with since our inception. The red flower represents the Red Poppy, the national flower of Palestine.
Each tee will be packaged with an Election Reform flyer that features information about the next steps for Palestine advocacy. You can download the digital version of the flyer here.
We also would like to send our deepest gratitude to our friends supporting this effort with their platforms and voices:
The t-shirt was available for pre-order through our website, and in a one-week effort, we managed to raise 88,000$ for Medical Relief in Gaza.
Thank you for your support!
