NO SHOW OFFICIAL is a way to show new season collections based on collective effort and inclusion, with a shift from the individual (brand, designer, stylist, etc) to the group.

 

It brings together 7 labels, and extended communities of stylists, performers, friends. Looks will be made spontaneously, mixing brands, styled by a group of stylists, and on friends and others visiting the event.

 

We want to reflect on real-life and honesty, the way we dress ourselves day by day. As people are dressed they will leave the gallery of OFR bookshop and cross the road, revealing the new season collections publicly, walk and pick a flower from an installation, and give it to someone they don’t know. This is a gesture but also one of the few ‘rules’ of the event.

 

Meanwhile, during the night of the Fete de la Musique, we have curated a sound system and bar, a real party backdrop for the No Show. Photographers will capture the looks and the exchange of flowers and the onlookers. The pictures will eventually form the idea of the show.

 

The event will last over a few hours, ‘walkers’, visitors will come as they like, and there will be no guest list or seating structure, and a club night will continue to the next day. The rhythm of the show will be the rhythm of the night.

 

Anyone is invited to come, and everyone is encouraged to participate.
